Powerpuff Girls - Summary and Sketches

The Powerpuff Girls is an American animated television series created by animator Craig McCracken for Cartoon Network. The show centers on Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, three girls with superpowers, as well as their father, the brainy scientist Professor Utonium, who all live in the fictional city of Townsville, USA. The girls are frequently called upon by the town's childlike and naive mayor to help fight nearby criminals using their powers.

The Powerpuff Girls are a trio of cute  superhuman kindergarten girls created by Professor Utonium who are the title characters of the Cartoon Network series The Powerpuff Girls and its anime spin-off, Powerpuff Girls Z.

The members of the group are:

Blossom (Commander and the Leader)
Bubbles (The Joy and the Laughter)
Buttercup (The Toughest Fighter)

In Powerpuff Girls, the girls were created by Professor Utonium out of "sugar, spice and everything nice", as well as the accidental addition of Chemical X, due to being accidentally bumped by his then lab assistant, Jojo, (later to become the evil villain Mojo Jojo.) After the events of Powerpuff Girls Movie, the Powerpuff Girls "dedicated their lives to fighting crime and the forces of evil."

“The Powerpuff Girls” will return to Cartoon Network in 2016, the cabler announced. The reboot will include a new television series and a full licensing program that will roll out across all regions. The show premiered in 1998 and was created by Craig McCracken.

“The original ‘Powerpuff Girls’ was a franchise phenomenon for Cartoon Network, paving the way for a new generation of innovative storytellers and enthusiastic fans worldwide,” said Rob Sorcher, chief content officer, Cartoon Network. “We are calling these girls back into action based upon an overwhelming demand for sugar, spice and Chemical X.”

Shin Chan - Summary and Sketches

Shin Chan, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshito Usui. It follows the adventures of the five-year-old Shinnosuke "Shin" Nohara and his parents, baby sister, dog, neighbours, and friends and is set in Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture.

The show has now been dubbed in Danish, English, Dutch, German, Greek, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Galician, Catalan, Basque, Polish, Mandarin, Korean, Cantonese, Hindi, Hebrew, Telugu, Tamil, Tagalog, Indonesian, Malay, Khmer, Thai and Vietnamese.

The anime Crayon Shin-chan has been on TV Asahi since April 13, 1992, and on several television networks, worldwide.

A typical gag involves Shin-chan confounding his parents by using the wrong phrase for the occasion; for instance, saying "Welcome back " instead of a using a more suitable wording such as "I am home" when he comes home.

Kasukabe Defense Organization is an "organization" that Shin-chan and his friends created as a group in the episode "Kasukabe Defense Organization" broadcast on May 1, 1995.

The purpose of this group was to promote peace in the city of Kasukabe. However, this so-called organization is little more than just a name for Shin-chan's clique and often they hardly do anything meaningful during their operations, but they ironically cause many troubles when they do "defend". Their secret base is located at kindergarten teacher Miss. Yoshinaga's house, and she is also known as the group's manager, much to her chagrin. In English dub, Known as "Kasukabe Defense Corp" or "Haruhibu Military Corp".

Samurai Jack - Summary and Sketches

Samurai Jack is the character and main protagonist of the cartoon Samurai Jack. He is voiced by Phil LaMarr.

Jack strongly exhibits the characteristics of a stoic hero. He is unfailingly kind and generous, and will always attempt to help those in need, as well as dispatching sage like wisdom to those he believes are in need of guidance. He often ends up sacrificing a chance to return to his own time in order to help someone else. He is also clever and rational, able to pose a plan or a strategy necessary to defeat the enemy, and also knowing his limits (such as when he is surrounded by too much enemies to defeat them by pure force).

Jack's story first began when he was born after Aku had his imprisonment by the hands of Jack's father. About a decade later, Aku escaped by an eclipse. Jack's mother went into hiding and sent Jack to train around the world, as was planned by his parents should Aku ever escape his prison and Jack's father fail to stop him. After years of training with some of the greatest warriors of the time, Jack returned to the temple his mother was hiding in and was given the sword his father used to defeat Aku with and his signature kimono.

Jack travelled to the castle of Aku and found his father enslaved and nearly skin and bones. He warned Jack that it was too early for him to fight Aku, but he didn't listen and continued on. Jack then confronted the sorcerer and the battle began. Jack managed to severely wound Aku, but before he could deal the final blow, Aku opened a time portal and threw Jack into it, sending him centuries into the future.

Jack has shown impressive mastery in many styles of martial arts some of which include the Shaolin Praying Mantis, Tiger, and Eagle styles, Ninjutsu techniques, Greek wrestling and African stick fighting.

Jack has shown to have excellent skills in archery since he was trained by Robin Hood.

Aside from Jack's ability to proficiently wield a vast number of weaponry, he showed the greatest amount of skill with his sword. This was most likely due to the fact that the only weapon capable of destroying Aku was Jack's blade.

After over 10 years, Samurai Jack is heading back to Cartoon Network this year. Adult Swim just announced that Genndy Tartakovsky, the animator behind the acclaimed series as well as favorites like Dexter's Laboratory and the animated Star Wars: Clone Wars microseries, is back to produce a new season that will land on Toonami in 2016.
